About Russell
Personal
At the age of 13 Russell was diagnosed with bone cancer
in his left arm.The doctors gave him about a 50% chance of survival. The amputation of the arm
was necessary and was followed by two years of chemotherapy. By grace alone, Russell
is a cancer survivor!
He married Gayle Sivess in 1992. Gayle was a longtime resident of Dallas, graduating from Bryan Adams High School, before moving to Denton and then To Ft. Worth. She has delivered dozens of etiquette seminars both locally and
regionally. Weddings are her favorite occassions!!
Education
Russell earned a bachelor's degree in History and
Religion from Texas Christian University, a master's degree in Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University Divinity School and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Meadville Lombard Theological School. He also earned a doctoral degree in Education and Counseling from the University of North Texas.
Gayle earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of North Texas. She holds a bachelor's degree in public relations and communications and the master's degree in training and development.
Residence
Russell and Gayle live in the city of Ft. Worth, Texas. They have officiated and coordinated
many wedding ceremonies in and around the area. They are also devoted to community service and
have worked extensively with university students, the local police department, the local
historical commission, and in local hospitals. She is a member of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. He is a member of Toastmasters International You can contact them via e-mail at doctorelleven@gmail.com.
